Born on May 21, 1904 in New York Citywas born as Thomas Wright Waller. He was an African American pianist, songwriter and singer who wrote such jazz standards as "A'int Misbehavin" and earned fame for his comedic radio performances in the 1930's. He died from bronchial pneumonia in Kansas City, Missouri on December 5, 1943. Large autograph on the 7" x 10"  wine menu of the Southland Club of Boston.
