Original full leather 114 page listings of the results of the Georgia Land Lottery of 1827. Book is firm and tight with ink stain and tear in upper right corner of the front cover. Text is printed and has some foxing but each page is easily readable. Written in ink on the inside of the front cover is "Dennis Hills Walton County Nov 19th 1829... There is also writing on the front cover and pencil writing on the front end paper. Included is a July 23, 1827 one page headline from the Statesman and Patriot newspaper of Milledgeville, GA. concerning the Land Lottery.
A very rare volume with hundreds of names on each page of Georgians participating in the lottery.
