Kate Greenaway (1846-1901), English Victorian artist, children's writer and book illustrator who was born in London on the 17th of March 1806. She is known for her original, simple, elegant, delicate and charming children's book illustrations and verses. She was also very successful for her holiday card illustrations and verses which maintained the same qualities she achieved in her books. She died at Hampstead on the 6th of November 1901. Autographed Letter Signed (ALS) and dated on stationery measuring approximately 4" x 6". Very good condition.
