Edward Frederic Benson (24 July 1867 - 29 February 1940) was an English novelist, biographer, archaeologist and short story writer. He was born at Wellington College in Berkshire and died in London. He is principally known for his Mapp and Lucia series which also became a popular television series. ALS on 4 1/2" x 7" stationery with a light crease in Very Good condition.
