Mrs. Leslie Carter "the American Sarah Bernhardt" (nee' Caroline Louise Dudley) was born in Louisville, Kentucky and died in 1937 in Santa Monica, California. At the turn of the century, Mrs. Carter was an international stage star of the "emotional" school of acting. Bold autograph in ink on four page 4.5 x 7 a page stationery in Fine condition. Also included is a 30 + page program from the Belasco Theatre of New York City for a performance on March 18, 1905 of Adrea starring Mrs. Carter.
