Lillian Diana de Guiche (later changed to Gish)was born October 14, 1893 in Springfield, Ohio. She was born with the ethereal beauty and grace to make her a star in the silent film industry. She was also the greatest actress of her era (1910's - 1920's) and has the title of The First Lady of The American Cinema. She died on Feb. 27, 1993 in New York City.
