A comedy duo composed of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello whose work on radio, film and television made them the most popular comedy team of the early 1940's and early 50's. William Alexander "Bud" Abbott was born Oct. 2, 1897 in Asbury Park, New Jersey and died on April 24, 1974 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. Lou Costello was born Louis Francis Cristillo on March 6, 1906 in Patterson, New Jersey and died March 3, 1959 in Los Angeles. Offered is a postcard dated April 27, 1947 and signed by both. The card has a crease in the center and is in Good condition.
