Thomas Michael Bond (13 January1926) was a British author who is best known for a series of fictional stories for children, featuring the character of Paddington Bear. He was born in Newbury, Bertkshire and raised in Reading. Bond also wrote culinary mystery stories for adults, featuring Monsieur Pamplemouse and his faithful bloodhound, Pomme Frites. Bond died in London in 2017 he was 91 years of age. TLS in Very Good condition.
